“The Dim Light,Night Girl”

Whenever I felt Depressed I used to went to the lake near to my home,which became my second best friend from a day or a week or a month because I did not noticed that how I used to depressed from one a month to one a week and every day.And the only thing which kept me alive that the dark corner of lake and the music which I used to hear while making my head under my leg and the moment my tears fall down my eyes.As because I sat at a corner (Which became my permanent place) where light never able to capture the place nobody can able to notice but a day…..

I was in my as usual condition and sudden I felt a knock on my shoulder I make my head up and there was a girl who was offering me a hanky as because of dim light I didn’t able to look perfectly at her face but I am quite sure that her eyes were brown.But anyway,Me and She looking each other from a few second and she finally said,”Take this hanky and clean your tears!”

And I took that as I was cleaning my eyes she sat just next to me. She said,”I am noticing from a week in this corner”

I surprised,”From a week?”,

“Yes!from a week”

“But…”

“I can understand may be you’re in depression”

“May be,yes”

She asked me,”What wrong with you happen?”

I said,”Sorry, but we’re strangers and I don’t believe to tell anything to strangers”

She started a story”You know,there were two guys A and B,both were depressed with there life but one day person A meet a person may be they are only casual friend but in just chats he tell everything to that guy and he started feeling lighter as he got a new birth,but as same person B never used to talk and share his problem not with his life mate nor his best friend and in last he tied up by life forever,and he slept forever and there were only family remain who were also died when there tears were died out from there eyes,so what you want to be A or B, by the way I am Ruchi” forwarding her hand offering to shake hands I replied,”Aakash”

“So knowing each other name not bounded us to be a strangers”

“So?”

“Tell the thing which you’re penetrating right now”

I started telling my story,”I am a student who is going to become aspirant for JEE according to my family I am only one of the support for there whole life and I am the person on whose everything is just going wasted but inner soul always kept to tell me you’re not a person for this, and I am going to disappoint the people who has the most trust.”

Ruchi replied,”Are you quite depressed with this?no because okay I can understand a love for your family,but you’re not able to understand that they love you too,there is no reason to disappointing them because they just try to do the best,you’re the person to whom a gift had tied up by the god so go and open it.They’re loving you too so it doesn’t mean that everything for them is more than you,Okay you’re not able to score but at-least you tried for them,Didn’t you?”

I replied,”The words you had spoken now,just are quite look sweet to hear but bitter to apply on our life.”

Ruchi,”Okay, what you think but I am damn sure you’re feeling well and fine after this.”

I said,”Yaa,and thanks for the story and motivation”

She stood up and approaching her hand toward me and with the support I stood up too, She asked me to have a walk around to the lake,and requested to took out the earphone(Because one of my ear was still listening a song)I joined her with no earphone or music.

Me and She started chanting ,Yaa I know it too strange that before an half hour we were a stranger but now we’re talking with each other as like we’re friend from a long time.

She asked,”Did you always used to hear songs?”

“Yes!they may be become my life line and a reason to live..”

“So your Girlfriend allow you to do that”

“Sorry,I’ve no Girlfriend,and how surely you say that”

“No! I noticed every boy flirt and have a Relationship as why I thought..”

“Means you’ve a Boyfriend?”

“No, it’s not like that”

“So what it likes”

“I am just a girl who want to live free”

“Me too!”

“But you didn’t have a Girlfriend till?”

“It’s not important to have GF! And I am already in love..”

“To what????”

“To the music!!!”

“Okay are you a singer?”

“No,I am just a Dancer”

“Hmmm…”

As like casual talk we completed two rounds of the lake and It was time to Bye the Dim light night Girl  so I just turned but she hold my wrist and asked,”So tomorrow is Saturday I hope you come tomorrow again?”

I replied,”Try my best”

At the time which I have to be slept I was just thinking that what she said about Family and etc.

Whatever…….

Next day I reached to the lake at the same time,and she was looking like she was waiting for someone,I knock on her shoulder any one coming She turned toward me and said,”No,I was waiting for you”

“Really?”

“Yes!!”

“But why!”

“I am new to this place as I shifted new to here and you’re the only friend till now”

“Okay”

“Let’s have a round with talk”

We started our bored routine as like other.But I asked first

“What’s your father do?”

“My father is a Psychiatrist”

“As father as Daughter”

“Yes!you can like this”

“So DIM LIGHT NIGHT GIRL have you look the place in this area?”

“No, no one here to accompany me to roam here”

 “Let me accompany you!”

“In night?”

“Yes,why not”

“Really!!!”

She was damn excited to roam in this area,so we first went to Chaat house and she love that taste.

In talk I knew that she came for a short time interval and after a week she had to return to his hometown.While talking with her she told about his father incident while he met to a depressed girl who always lock her in her room,and cried in a corner and never tell a word to her parents while meeting to Ruchi’s father,he gave the same explanation as Ruchi gave me at our first meet. I was quite feel interested in that story and I excitedly said,”I want to meet with your father” she replied,”Why not,tomorrow is Sunday my dad is at home and in this mean time You also meet up with my family”

So we decided to meet before the walk then how can we go both in same manner at walk from the home.

Next day I reach to Ruchi’s home as while her Dad was reading some papers(May be report of some patient)

I greeted to uncle by,”Hi sir”,He giving me a smile replied,”Ohh..,Aakash Ruchi had told about you”

Ruchi sat near to me and It was quite obvious it looking that they follow modern rules.They show us Ruchi’s childhood photos and their jokes and I was enjoying in a while Ruchi’s mom called her at Kitchen and I just remembered a case of his father which Ruchi tell me,and I asked to uncle about that Who was that Girl which Ruchi had told me.And uncle replied “She was none other then Ruchi!!”

That words may be feel me with the emptiness.I asked “Why?”, he said, “Ruchi was only 12 when she knew she has cancer in her Bone narrow”

That answered make wobbling in my stomach and my heart was crying with the blood.

“As why we’re going to London next week for treatment of Ruchi,But appreciate to the girl while she had critical condition but she still help people to come out from their Depression,May be Aakash you’re one of them”

Tears just layered on my eyes but any how cleaning that with my hand and looking toward kitchen I found myself that how idiot I was,her problem is nothing toward mine.

Ruchi excitedly came out from the kitchen and said,”Let’s go Aakash we’ve to go on walk”

Anyhow I spent a week with Ruchi and I had bye her yesterday for the London in a hope that she will be fine but still I my legs walk toward the lake and my heart tune,”Go!She is waiting for you,the DIM LIGHT NIGHT GIRL”
